The next week Nia met up with Ashay in the back of the school.

Nia:"SHAY!"

Ashay:"Hey boo! How was your weekend?"

Nia:"GURL!!!..."

Ashay:"What? What happened?"

Nia:"Q is what happened.."

Ashay:"What do you mean? Did yall-??"

Nia:"NOOO!! We didn't have sex if that's what you're thinking."

Ashay:"Oh okay, so what did yall do?"

Nia:"He took me out to this BEAUUUUUUUUUTIFUL restaurant, we talked all night long, he got me this beautiful dress, some shoes, he even sent me to this hair salon so I could get my hair done and all.."

Ashay:"Damn! He did all that?!?"

Nia:"And some..." (Nia flashed her ring)

Ashay:"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!? A RING?!?"

Nia:"Yup!"

Ashay:"Oooo you lucky!!! Damn he musta really liked you.."

Nia:"Yeah, he does... AND he officially asked me to be his girlfriend."

Ashay:"Damn, I wish my nigga did all that.."

Nia:"He will.. just give him time."

Ashay:"Nahhh, he needs to do it NOW!! Im give him booty... he betta put a ring on it!....Shit."

Nia:"You a mess.." (they laugh)

Ashay:"So you ended it with Manny?"

Nia:"I wasnt able to get ahold of him all week, but I know he's in the hallway talkin to some of his friends. I was gonna wait till lunch to talk to him personally..theres some things you just cant do over the phone."

Ashay:"Oh okay.. well you need to tell him boo, you gotta rip it off like a bandaid..Yeah it'll hurt for that moment, but it'll feel better in no time."

Nia:"I know.. but I can't hurt him."

Ashay:"Hurt him? Boo, he's been the one doin the hurting.."

Nia:"I know but-"

Ashay:"But nothin...Now you got someone that actually cares about you enough to spend time with you.. Hell, he showers you in every way possible. You NEED to get rid of his ass and enjoy yourself."

Nia:"I guess you're right."

Ashay:"You know I am."

*Nia's phone rings alerting her that she recieved a new message, Nia answered*

Nia:" WHAT THE FUCK!?!"

Ashay:"What? What happened?"

*Before Ashay could blink Nia was half way accross the garden, confused...Ashay ran after Nia*

Ashay:"NIAAA!!! WHATS WRONG?!?"

*Nia shouted*

Nia:"HE CHEATED ON ME!!!"

*Ashay couldnt catch up to Nia fast enough, and eventually she lost her. Once inside the school building there Manny stood talking to a few of his friends. Nia rushed in and glared at him.*

Manny:"Hey baby.."

Nia:"..........can I talk to you?"

Manny:"Hello to you too... ill see you guys in a bit" *he looked back at his friends*

Manny:"What's wrong with you?"

Nia:"how-dare-you...."

Manny:"What the hell are you talkin about?"

Nia:"WHO THE FUCK IS SHE?"

Manny:"What the fuck are you talkin about?"

Nia:"OH YOU DUMB NOW?!?"

Manny:"Nia what the fuck are you talkin about?!?"

Nia:"HER!!!! WHO THE FUCK IS SHE?!?"

*She flipped the phone to him and his eye widened, he whispered (...shit.) under his breath and reached for the phone*

Manny:"That's not me!"

Nia:"YOU A DAMN LIE!!" *she snatched the phone back*

Nai:"NIGGA THOSE ARE YOUR TATTOOS!!! ONLY YOU HAVE THOSE TATTOOS!!!! WHAT'CHU THINK IM STUPID?!?"

Manny:"How'd you get that?!?..."

Nia:"NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS!!! ALL YOU NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT IS THAT BITCH CAUGHT'CHU SLIPPIN!!! NO SHIRT NO PANTS, AND THE BITCH IS IN HER UNDERWEAR!!!! FUCK YOU!!"

Manny:"Fuck me?!?"

Nia:"YEAH! FUCK YOU AND THAT BITCH!! HAD ME SITTIN UP HERE WORRIED ABOUT US, HAD ME THINKIN THAT IM THE ONE THATS TRIPPIN AN YOU OUT HERE FUCKIN A WHOLE BITCH WHILE YOU AINT WITH ME!!!"

Manny:"YOU WANNA KNOW WHY I GOT WITH HER?!?"

Nia:"LIKE I EVEN GIVE A FUCK!!!"

Manny:"I GOT WIT HER BECAUSE YOU WASNT DOWN WIT ME LIKE THAT IGHT!"

Nia:"SO YOU WENT AND FOUND YOU A WHOLE BITCH CAUSE I WASNT FUCKIN YOU?!? I TOLD YO ASS I WASNT READY AND I MEANT THAT SHIT!! IM NOT FUCKIN YOU, TOM, DICK, OR HARRY!!! WHEN I SAY IM NOT READY THAT MEANS IM NOT READY!!! I SAT UP HERE AND DEALT WITH ALL THESE BITCHES AND THEIR BUMMY ASSES GIVIN ME THE STANK EYE, BEIN HARRASSED AND SHIT BECAUSE I LOVED YOU, AND THIS IS WHAT I GET BACK!?!FUCK THAT NOISE!!!"

Manny:"Come here.."

Nia:"NO! GET OFF ME!"

*He grabbed her forcefully pulling her towards him and Nia smacked him*

Manny:"YOU CRAZY?!?"

Nia:"GET OFF OF ME!!!"

Manny:"BITCH!"

*Manny got so angry he grabbed her by the neck*

Nia:"I AINT NO BITCH!!! IF ANYONE'S A BITCH ITS YOU!!! UP HERE FUCKIN SOMEONE ELSE CAUSE YOU COULDNT GET IT FROM ME... THATS WHAT MAKES YOU A BITCH!!! YOU'RE SAD!!"

*Nia pushed Manny off of her*

Nia:"GET THE FUCK OFFA ME!! YOU KNOW WHAT? THAT BITCH CAN HAVE YOUR MARK ASS!! YOU WASNT WORTHY OF ME ANYWAY, AND I CANT WAIT FOR THE DAY SHE FUCK YOU OVER!!! THESE BITCHES OUT HERE AINT LOYAL AND ITLL BE TOO SOON BEFORE YOU REALISE WHAT'CHU HAD...BUT TRUST AND BELIEVE, IF SHE COULD DO IT WHILE YOU WERE WITH ME..SHE'LL DO IT TO YOU, AND YOU'LL WISH YOU COULD TAKE IT BACK!"

Manny:"FUCK OUTTA HERE WITH THAT!"

Nia:"DONT TOUCH ME!"

*Ashay ran in the building and saw Manny grabbing on Nia*

Ashay:"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOIN ON?!?"

Nia:"He cheated on me"

Ashay:"I heard you on that!" *She turns to Manny*

Ashay:" But what I wanna know is why was you grabbin on her like that tho?!?"

Manny:"Man get the fuck out my face!"

Ashay:"Nah! Why was you grabbin on her like that tho?!?"

Manny:"Man get the FUCK OUTTA MY FACE"

Ashay:"FUCK THAT!!! WHY THE FUCK WAS YOU GRABBIN ON MY SISTER LIKE THAT FOR THO BRUH!?!?!?" 

*Before Nia could blink Ashay punched Manny and a fight broke out in the hallway, Nia cheered Ashay on and eventually Ashay won. Manny got away.. and when Ashay looked up at Nia, Nia was smiling hard*

Ashay:"Dont ever talk to him again...."

Nia:"I wont, I promise.. she can have him."

Ashay:"I bet he was the one who started that damn rumor too!"

Nia:"I think he was, because he said the only reason why he's been cheatin on me was because I wasnt givin him any."

Ashay:"That fuckin pig... wait till Quintin hear about this.."

Nia:"No!"

Ashay:"Nah Nia, he's your man now right?"

Nia:"Yeah but-" *Ashay interrupts*

Ashay:"But nothin.... he needs to know!"

Nia:"Okay, but please... let me tell him."

Ashay:"Ight.."

*They hugged and Nia thanked Ashay for sticking up for her*

Nia:"Thank you Shay..."

Ashay:"You know I got'chu boo.."

*The following week Ashay and Nia were sitting outside talking*

Ashay:"How you holdin up?"

Nia:"Im doin good, im just waitin on Q to get back from his trip..."

Ashay:"You miss'em dont'chu?"

Nia:"Yeah, I do.. I mean we talk and send pics, but its still not the same like when he's here."

Ashay:"Awwww, yall make me sick."

Nia:"Hahaha shut up"

Ashay:"Hahah, well.. any word from that bitch made nigga?"

Nia:"Who Manny?"

Ashay:"Yeah.."

Nia:"Nah, he changed his number and all... and dont even acknowledge me when he walk by me in the hallway anymore."

Ashay:"Good! But im still shook about that tho boo..I just wanna know why tho"

Nia:"I told you, cause he wasnt gettin anything from me.."

Ashay:"But that still dont excuse what he's done.."

Nia:"I know.. well now theres another rumor goin around sayin he got that bitch pregnant..."

Ashay:"Good! I hope she slap his ass with that childsupport too.."

Nia:"RIGHT?!?" *they laugh*

Ashay:"Well now everyone knows the truth and your name's clear.."

Nia:"Oh my god yeeeesssss...Now I dont got them bitches lookin at me like they were."

Ashay:"Amen!"

Ashay:"Who sent you the picture anyway?"

Nia:"Alizée.."

Ashay:"So she was in on it?!?"

Nia:"Calm down... No..Come to find out she's actually friends with the girl. Zée said that she was always braggin n Boasting about havin a nigga to call her own for a couple months, but she never saw him herself.. Alizée wanted proof, so she sent her that. Alizée recognized Manny's tattoo's and forwarded it to me when she could cause she knew we were dating."

Ashay:"Damn!"

Nia:"Yeah, and come to find out Manny was the one who started the rumor to gain props from his boys, and it ended up spreading like wildfire throughout the whole school. He didnt mean for it to get outta hand like that, but he never did anything to stop it either.."

Ashay:"WOOOOOOOOOOW!!"

Nia:"Yeah...."

Ashay:"What a dog!...."

Nia:"Well its all good, cause im free..I dont have to worry about him anymore."

Ashay:"True...Now you got Quiiintiiiiiiin" *she teased*

Nia:"Yeah..he's my boobie-boo"

*They laughed*

*Ashay pulled Nia in for a hug and as they were snuggled up together Quintin walked up*

Quintin:"Hey Beautiful"

*Nia jumped up and ran to him*

Nia:"Q!!"

*Quintin picked Nia up twirling her around and set her down gently kissing her tenderly

Nia:"I missed you!"

Quintin:"I missed you more"

*Quintin kissed Nia tenderly once again but noticed that she was wearing a turtleneck in warm weather*

Quintin:"Why are you wearin that, the weather's great"

*Nia looked at Ashay*

*He moved Nia's turtleneck down and saw a bruise on her neck*

Quintin:"What happened?"

Nia:"It's nothing." *she lied*

Quintin:"No really Nia... what happened?!?"

*Ashay looked at Nia and Nia shook her head..She wanted to tell Quintin, but she could see the rage showing in his eye..Ashay looked at Nia*

Ashay:"Tell him!.. You said you would.."

Nia:"I dont want him to go lookin for him.."

Quintin:"HIM?!? Ashay, what happened?!?"

*Ashay sighed*

Nia:"Shay NO!"

Quintin:"Was it Manny?!?" *he asked as he looked sharply at Ashay*

Nia:"Q.. please.." *Nia begged*

Quintin:"No! What happened?"

Nia:"I got a text from my friend Alizée, she sent me a picture of Manny and some chick together laid up in her bed and I went after him...we argued and he put his hands on me.."

Quintin:"What the hell do you mean he put his hands on you?!?"

Nia:"Baby please... its okay.."

Quintin:"where is he?" *he asked in a steady and firm tone*

Nia:"I dont know.."

*Quintin looked at Ashay and she looked at Nia*

Ashay:"In the gym.."

Nia:"SHAY!!"

Ashay:"You promised..."

*Before Nia could get a word out, Quintin broke out running*

Nia:"Q NOOO!"

*Nia ran after him*

*Quintin got inside the gymnasium and saw Manny throwing free throws, and he called*

Quintin:"HEY!"

*Emanuel looked up confused*

Manny:"Do I know you?"

Quintin:"I HEARD YOU OUT HERE PUTTIN YA HANDS ON NIA!!"

Manny:"Nia?  Look man-"

Quintin:"NO YOU LOOK!" *Quintin interrupted*

Quintin:"DONT'CHU EVER PUT'CHO HANDS ON HER AGAIN, I DONT GIVE A SINGLE FUCK WHO YOU ARE!!"

Manny:"GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY FACE BRUH!"

*Manny pushed Quintin and Quintin retaliated, They brawled for a few moments as everyone watched until Nia and Ashay found them...Nia grabbed Quintin screaming*

Nia:"QUINTIN STOP!!! PLEASE!!!"

*She pulled him backward as Quintin kicked Manny in the face, Nia tried her best to pull him off of Manny as Ashay watched in horror.*

*Eventually Nia calmed Quintin down long enough to so that Manny could get up from the floor, she held onto Quintin standing in his way so he wouldnt hurt Manny anymore.*

Quintin:"DONT'CHU EVER PUT'CHER HANDS ON HER AGAIN!!! YOU HEAR ME?!?"

Manny:"Im guessin she told you.."

Quintin:"EVEN IF SHE DIDNT SHE WOULDNT HAVE TO!!! YOU LEFT BRUISES ON HER NECK BIG ENOUGH FOR ME TO NOTICE SO IT WOULDNT'VE BEEN THAT HARD TO GUESS... TOUCH HER AGAIN AN I PROMISE YOU IT'LL BE YOUR LAST TIME!"

Manny:"You threatin me??"

Quintin:"THATS A PROMISE BITCH!!!"

*Nia looked at Quintin with tears in her eyes and he just embraced her*

Quintin:"Im sorry.."

*When he let her go Quintin looked at Ashay*

Quintin:"Thank you..."

Ashay:"For what?"

Quintin:"For tellin me where he was.... and for lookin out for Nia when I wasnt around."

Ashay:"Boy.. thats my sister, you never gotta worry about her on my part... Ill whoop a nigga ass over her.."

Quintin:"Clearly... well im finna take her home, do you need a ride?"

Ashay:"Im pushin my own wheels, but thank you anyway."

Quintin:"Oh alright.."

Ashay:"Aye.."

Quintin:"Yeah?"

Ashay:"Bout time you showed up...she needs someone like you, it just took you long enough to come out."

*they chuckled as Quintin laced his fingers with Nia's.*

Quintin:"Yeah... I guess I was just waiting for the right moment."

*Back at the house Quintin apologized for how he acted infront of Nia, and Nia forgave him. Afterall..he WAS doing his job by defending his girlfriend.*

Quintin:"I promise ill make it up to you."

Nia:"You dont have to, I get it.. I just wish you didnt get so mad like you did, but I guess I understand. You were protecting me.*

Quintin:".....Exactly..It's my job."

Nia:"I guess you just scared me is all... I've never seen you that angry before."

Quintin:"And I hope you never have to see me that angry again..I didnt mean to make you cry, but I wont tollerate ANYONE disrespecting you.."

Nia:"Its okay.."

*Quintin pulled Nia close bringing her head towards his and whispered*

Quintin:"I love you"
